Human Request via Snippet

Birdie makes it easy to request screen recordings from customers in HubSpot using snippets. Here’s how to set it up in just a few clicks:

1. Create a Snippet: In HubSpot Settings, search for Snippets, then create a new one (e.g., Request Screen Recording) and assign a shortcut (e.g., Birdie).

2. Copy Your Request Link: Open Birdie Settings, find your HubSpot Request Link, and copy it.

3. Paste the Request Link in the Snippet: You have two options for setting up the snippet:

   • Option 1: Hyperlink text (e.g., Click here to record) by selecting the text and inserting the Birdie Request Link.

   • Option 2: Paste the full Birdie Request Link directly into the snippet. If using this method, you can append: ?email={{contact.email}} to the link. This will automatically associate the recording with the sender’s email, helping your team track responses more efficiently
