# Two-factor authentication

To turn on two-factor authentication:

1. Go to [User Settings -> Your Profile](https://app.birdie.so/user/profile). 
2. Click on **Enable two-factor authentication**.
3. Save your backup codes somewhere safe.
4. Scan the QR code (using Google Authenticator app, Twilio Authy app, etc...)
5. Verify it
