# Installation

1. Install Birdie from [Freshchat Marketplace →](https://www.freshworks.com/apps/freshchat/screen_recording_by_zest/)<br>
2. Enter your Freshchat account subdomain in the first field and your API Key in the second field.<br>

3. You can find your API keys in your Profile Settings:<br>

4. To link the Birdie app to your Birdie account, click on <mark style="color:green;">`Connect`</mark> through one of the Birdie app locations available.<br>

5. If Birdie asks for your email address:
   * if you **don't** have a Birdie account yet, use your professional email address,&#x20;
   * if you **already** have a Birdie account, use the same email address.&#x20;
