# Customer portal

Customers can record their screen from Jira customer portal without any downloads or installations:

📌 In the event that an agent has requested a recording, you may encounter two different scenarios:&#x20;

* Customers open Jira's portal and click on the "<mark style="color:green;">has requested a recording</mark>" link. In this case, customers can either copy and paste the link of the recording into the description field or post the recording directly.&#x20;
* Customers open the email and click on the "<mark style="color:green;">has requested a recording</mark>" link. In this case, customers need to submit the recording at the end of the recording process.
