# Installation

**Requirement:** You need to be a Jira admin

1. Install Birdie from [Jira Marketplace →](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228628/screen-recording-by-zest)
2. Once installed, <mark style="color:green;">`Connect`</mark> Birdie app to your Birdie workspace:

   * if you **don't** have a Birdie account yet, use your professional email
   * if you **already** have a Birdie account, use the same email address. &#x20;

   *(Note: If logged into Birdie workspace, skip step 2)*
