Go to your helpdesk settings and enable Salesforce to get access to your Birdie Request Link for Salesforce.
Birdie is designed to enhance your support processes by integrating screen recording capabilities where they are most impactful. Start by determining how and where you want to incorporate screen recording into your workflows.
While there are several possible approaches, here are two recommended starting points:
Goal: Allow your agents to request a screen recording, reducing back-and-forth communication.
Agents can use the Birdie Request Link for Salesforce whenever they reply to a customer who needs to provide more context. 💡 Pro Tip: Add the Birdie Request Link to Quick Text in Salesforce to make it easily accessible for your agents.
How it works:
Agents share the Birdie Request Link with customers.
Customers complete their recording and copy the video URL.
Customers paste the video URL into the relevant Salesforce case.
Advanced Option: If you'd like to streamline this process further, we can provide an API endpoint. This allows for creative automations, such as automatically posting the video URL into the appropriate Salesforce case.
Goal: Enable your customers to record their issue while completing a ticket form.
You have two options for adding Birdie to your Salesforce ticket forms:
Option 1: Quick and No-Code Solution
Add a button or link to the form using the Birdie Link for Salesforce (Link).
This requires no development work.
Customers will manually paste their video URL into the form after recording.
Option 2: Streamlined and Automated Integration
Add a button or link to the form and integrate it with the Birdie WebSDK (Documentation here).
This option is quick to implement but requires a developer.
The video URL will be automatically populated in the form field, eliminating the need for customers to paste it manually.
Both approaches make it easy to incorporate screen recordings into your support processes, enabling your team to resolve complex issues faster and with less effort.
